Obelix Hills is this cool new tourist spot in Yogyakarta. Originally, it was just a regular hill called Klumprit Hill. It started as this ancient rocky hill covered in lush trees. Before it became Obelix Hills, the place had a seriously beautiful view.

Recognizing the awesome potential of Klumprit Hill as a tourist spot, they decided to develop it in 2020. On May 5, 2021, it was officially opened, and the main attraction is the sunset view. Before you knew it, Obelix Hills became popular and a tourist go-to spot.

Monday-Friday:  10:00 AM – 9:00 PM WIB

Saturday-Sunday, national holidays: 7:00 AM – 9:00 PM WIB

Entrance Fee: Rp20,000-Rp25,000 per person

Around Prambanan, it’s not just Candi Ijo and Tebing Breksi; you’ve also got Obelix Hills Yogyakarta. It’s situated in the Klumprit area of Prambanan at Klumprit, Block 1 & 2, Prambanan, Sleman, Yogyakarta.

Obelix Hills is open every Monday-Friday from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM WIB and from 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM WIB on weekends and national holidays. So, you can swing by and enjoy your day off whenever it suits you.

Admission to Obelix Hills Jogja is Rp20,000 on weekdays and Rp25,000 on weekends and national holidays.

How to Get There?

The easiest way from Jogja to Obelix Hills is taking Jl. Jogja Solo. Take a right at the junction near Candi Prambanan and go about 3.5 km along Jl. Piyungan Prambanan.

Then, take a left, following the road toward Candi Ijo and Tebing Breksi. After hitting those two spots, you’ll roll right into Obelix Hills.

The last stretch cruises through a narrow, winding road with plenty of twists, turns, and steep hills. Make sure your ride and driver are up for this terrain.
